Who's that Girl? It's Jess!

Jessica Daly joined the Veil Trends family as our Vice President of Sales back in May. She brings a wealth of knowledge about the wedding industry from her experience working as a sales representative for Watters. We are so excited to be working alongside Jessica. She is sharp, resourceful, and forward thinking.

Jessica will be connecting stores with the Veil Trends Couture line, meeting their every need, and attending trunk shows. We can't wait for you to get to know her!

We asked Jessica about a few of her favorite things, and here is what she had to say:

Favorite part about working in bridal? Since I have grown up in the bridal industry, looking back on all my experiences I would have to say my favorite part is seeing the individualized and unique style that each woman has for her overall look.  Truly the bride’s overall appearance from her gown to accessories, will only be worn once, so being able to experience the raw emotion, vision and feeling once the bride has her complete look is so extraordinary.  Working in an industry that really impacts people in a positive way is extremely important to me.

Favorite Veil Trends veil?  V1510 – a show stopper in my opinion!  A chapel length 10 layer petal cut edge veil…Simple, clean but unique and makes a powerful fashion statement – that is how I would describe my style on a daily basis and what I would want for my wedding one day.

Favorite wedding gown designer? Watters!  Obviously…the best of the best, I have worked with that team most recently in Dallas and they set the bar higher each season with their styles and handwork quality.

Favorite bridal fashion trend?  I love the non-strapless trend in wedding gowns and maids dresses.  I love illusion necklines and all the gorgeous ways to incorporate straps or coverage in a sexy and stylish way.  Also, accessories have NO limits now with brides and I love that you can take a very simple silhouette gown and add layers of accessories to amp up the entire look!

Favorite part about summer? Being back in CO, there is nothing like the summer evenings.  Whether you are taking an evening jog on a trail or sitting back with friends for a happy hour, it is beyond gorgeous outside and the temperature is perfect!
